Why would someone want to work at Legal Sea Foods?
The attraction to Legal Sea Foods is quality, being a part of something that you can be proud of. The thing with us is that you matter, you are heard. And that goes through the whole organization. Quality of the product AND the people.

What is your biggest recruiting challenge?
Finding quality people from the mass of applicants.

What is the future of the company?
We have two restaurant openings – one in Long Island at the end of March/beginning of April and then one in White Plains, NY. We are looking at numerous other sites in other markets too. Our plan is to open 3-5 restaurants a year.

Your advice for jobseekers?
I’m a restaurant person. I have ADD. I need quick results, I need them fast, I need them now! When I get these very long cover letters and three-page resumes, I’m not going to spend the time reading through them. I look for longevity, people who have been loyal to an organization, and people who show progression and development in their careers.
