Position Description:
A restaurant located on Fort Lauderdale Beach is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee and manage the day to day operations in our restaurant. This candidate must be a team player and possess strong leadership skills to manage a culinary team.
The Executive Chef will be responsible for enhancing the food product that is presented to guests. Make changes that respond to the marketplace and to guests' needs, both present and anticipated. Recommend changes to the food product. Use market research to develop new products.
This candidate will also be responsible for maintaining quality of food product and ensuring consistency in food delivery and standards. Job Requirements: Candidate must also have basic knowledge of food cost, productivity and cost controls as it relates to ensuring the success of the restaurant.
Computer skills are required such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
